A special-made Horizontal Drill HZ25T was made for drilling 610 mm dia. horizontal holes, around 30 m long. The dimensions and configuration were specially requested by the customer, due to the job site environment and drilling requirement.

This HZ25T special-made horizontal drill was equipped with a HR6000 rotator (6 t-m torque), mounted on a crawler undercarriage for easy movement of the machine, as well as 4 pcs. levelling jacks for easier positioning for the drilled holes. The machine is driven by a special made electric motor driven power pack, 215 HP.

For horizontal drilling, our company has also modified some HD drilling rigs for this application, such as the HD90MKV for horizontal grout hole drilling using the HB40A drifter, and HD110-2 for horizontal pipe pile 324 mm dia. drilling.
