Application - Waterwell Drilling

Waterwells are vertical holes that are drilled into an aquifer so that the water may be pumped out for purposes of household supply, irrigation, or public utility services. Generally the holes are lined with steel or plastic casing to prevent contamination, and well screens are placed in water bearing zones. Pumps and rising mains are then installed to tap the water. The most popular methods of drilling waterwells are:

* Rotary drilling with air/mud flushing
* Down-hole-hammer drilling
* Cable tool percussive drilling
Waterwells drills are generally truck or trailer mounted for ease of transport
